Drawing Import Main Toolbar

The Main Toolbar contains a variety of buttons for commonly used operations. These include file operations, scrolling and zooming, window display and help.

Zoom In

Press this button to zoom in on the drawing (see more detail). Each time you press the button, the drawing is enlarged by the Dimension zoom percentage.

Zoom Out

Press this button to zoom out on the drawing (see less detail but more of the drawing). Each time you press the button, the drawing is reduced by the Dimension zoom percentage.

Zoom Full View

Press this button to view the entire drawing.

Zoom Rectangle

Press this button to zoom in on a particular area of the drawing. After pressing the button (it will stay down), click-down on one corner of the area, drag the mouse to the opposite corner and release the button. As you drag, a rectangle will be displayed to show the zoom rectangle.

Shortcut: The buttons above zoom in and out in different ways. But the quickest way to zoom is to point the mouse at the area you want to see in more detail, then roll the mouse wheel forward (away from you). The mouse wheel is a roll-able control between the mouse buttons. Your mouse may not have a wheel.
You can also zoom out by rolling the wheel backwards.

Rotate Drawing 0 Degrees

Return the drawing to its original orientation. This will change the rotation of the current view of the drawing. It will only change the rotation of the imported drawing if "Synchronize View and Output Rotations" is selected.

Rotate Drawing 90 Degrees

Rotate the drawing 90 degrees clockwise from its original orientation. This will change the rotation of the current view of the drawing. It will only change the rotation of the imported drawing if "Synchronize View and Output Rotations" is selected.

Rotate Drawing 180 Degrees

Rotate the drawing 180 degrees from its original orientation (upside down). This will change the rotation of the current view of the drawing. It will only change the rotation of the imported drawing if "Synchronize View and Output Rotations" is selected.

Rotate Drawing 270 Degrees

Rotate the drawing 270 degrees clockwise from its original orientation (90 degrees counter-clockwise). This will change the rotation of the current view of the drawing. It will only change the rotation of the imported drawing if "Synchronize View and Output Rotations" is selected.

Synchronize View and Output Rotations

If this is checked, any changes to the View rotation will also change the Output rotation.

Display Drawing List

Display the drawing list during an import. During the import process, you can stop the naming/conversion process Then you can select this option to re-display the Drawing List Window. This button will be disabled if the first two steps of the import process haven't been completed.
